DESCRIPTION

Progressive Cloud is searching for a talented Senior Frontend Engineer excited to build amazing frontend services in modern software architecture for our clients worldwide. This profile will constantly optimize for user-facing solutions based on 1) our stakeholders' needs and 2) the best engineering principles rooted in Progressive Cloud’s operating model. Note: Full-remote opportunity only for candidates residing in Portugal.

In this role, you will:
  • Conceptualize, develop, and deploy frontend solutions aligned with UX-UI Design best principles.
  • Collaborate with different stakeholders (Business, UX-UI, Engineering) to identify, elicit and translate requirements into a technical solution.
  • Provide technical steering to different stakeholders to ensure the best architectural and design practices.
  • Focus on delivering towards a DevOps mindset.
  • Contribute to Progressive Cloud’s Engineering community, by sharing good practices and lessons learned.

REQUIREMENTS

What it takes:
  • You are currently residing in Portugal.
  • Autonomous professional who requires little steering to accomplish results.
  • Demonstrated authority to position himself/herself as a valuable member of an engagement.
  • Excellent verbal and written English skills.
  • Ability to influence others technically with your input.
  • Experience in agile frameworks for software development.
  • Solid knowledge Angular and Typescript.
  • Promote great architectural practices and process improvements through code reviews
  • Build reusable components that can be shared across multiple teams/projects.
  • Experience using Test frameworks (jest, Cypress, @testing-library/react, etc.) and the ability to do performance testing.
  • Availability to travel.
